VIC - Knox Area Practising Accountants Discussion Group

Our monthly meetings are structured around two key goals. 

Expert-Led Education: We host a guest speaker on a timely topic relating to an aspect of our firms, ensuring members remain at the cutting edge of tax practice. 

Collaborative Roundtable: This dedicated segment allows members to share professional achievements and milestones, exchange vital information, and present challenging tax problems to receive collective input and experience-based solutions from their peers.

We cover varied topics that impact our clients and firms.

Recent topics include preparing for Tranche 2 of AML/CTF laws, using AI, SRO update, readying a business for sale, UPE’s & Div 7A, RDTI & grants, Investments market update, HR update, insolvency update, CGT Small Business Concessions.

Meeting schedule

1st Monday of each month except January (no meeting) & November (moved to 2nd Monday due to Cup weekend), at 6pm for a dinner meeting.

Cost

Membership fee is $500 per financial year, which includes dinner & drinks at each meeting.

Intending members can join us for a meeting to assess the group’s dynamic, after which we will take their application.
